Crochet Flower Video 196studio sheru
In video you will see how to crochet a large three-dimensional flower with six spiral petals.
For this crochet project we used a ball of Multicolor Space Dyed Yarn: 10% mohair, 10% wool, 80% acrylic, 550m in 100g.; and a crochet hook 2.25 mm or 2 mm.
Flower is worked in round. The first 7 round is the center of the flower made of simple crochet mesh.
In the last 8th round first we are making the foundation for the spiral petal, which is a complex stitch, and then working around the posts of tall stich of the complex stitch in order to create a volumetric spiral. Each spiral is made using basic crochet stitches and different tall stitches.
The challenge in crocheting each spiral is to clearly understand and follow the direction of work.
Such incredibly interesting spiral petal flower can be a perfect embellishment material for clothing, bags, home items, also it can be a part of your larger projects made in Freeform Crochet, Irish Crochet, Guipure Crochet, etc.

Hi everyone. In todays tutorial you will see how to crochet this beautiful flower with 6 spiral petals. This flower is made of angora yarn, and here I have another one – made of cotton space dyed yarn – it is the exact same flower but in this flower I folded the central segments of each spiral to the right. And as you can see it has a little bit different look.
Lets begin the work.
For work I will be using Space Dyed Yarn angora yarn and a crochet hook.
Begin the work by making a chain of 6, and join the chain in the round by making a slip stitch into the first chain stitch. The foundation ring is ready.
Begin the 1-st round – a round of sc stitches: chain 1 to bring up the yarn, and sc 11 into the ring. Complete the first round by making a slip stitch into the first chain stitch. The first round is ready!
The 2-nd round is a round of chain spaces: chain 1 to bring up the yarn, then chain 3 for the chain space and sc into the next stitch of previous round; repeat chain 3 and sc into the next stitch, chain 3 and sc in to the next stitch, … Continue and work the same till the end of the round....
