Crochet Checkerboard Pattern with 3D Leaf

Today I’m going to show you how to do the stitch that you might have been able to sneak a peek at in that post… the Checkerboard Crochet Stitch with 3D leaf.
First you’ll need to decide the size of your blocks that will create your checkerboard pattern. in my pattern I did each block that has 11 sttiches and consists of 8 rows.
Yarn: 55% Cotton, 45% Polyacrylic, 160m in 50g ( or 330m in 100g), 5 ply and crochet hook Crochet Hook size 2mm or 2.25mm (#4 or #2 US standards).
